[Information] EMS Shipping (USPS) to USA Resumes!

28 abr 2025

Regarding our temporary suspension of shipments to the USA, we would like to provide an update! There was an official announcement from the U.S. government on April 28. For EMS shipments only, there has been a statement suggesting that while goods made in China are taxed if shipped directly from China, they may not be taxed if shipped from another country. In other words, it is likely that the tariff will be based on the country of shipment, not the country of origin for EMS shipments. Because of this, we will restart shipping to the USA by EMS only starting May 1. By default, FedEx is selected, but you can switch to EMS by opening the accordion menu at the checkout screen. For details about EMS shipping (Japan Post Official : Outside this website) >>>(Once the package arrives in the United States, EMS will be delivered by USPS.)Please note the following: If you refuse delivery and there are any issues with customs or USPS, we cannot assist and are not responsible. If the package is returned, we will refund the item price only when we receive the pack. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please also understand that returns may take a long time. EMS shipments may take longer than usual. Things are still unclear and we won't know for sure until shipments actually start. Since there could be unexpected exceptions, we cannot make an absolute guarantee that no tariff will be charged. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

[Información] Para nuestros clientes de EE. UU.: Aviso importante sobre aranceles y suspensión de envíos de productos fabricados en China

18 abr 2025

📢 Latest Update – U.S. Shipping Temporarily Suspended 🕒 Updated: April 24, 2025 Currently, shipping to the United States is temporarily suspended due to high tariff risks on products made in China. If we receive an order from a U.S. customer that includes items made in China, we will contact you individually with the following options: Pay the estimated tariff in advance and proceed with shipping Hold the order until tariff policies change Cancel the order We hope the situation will improve and shipping will resume soon. Please continue to follow our social media posts for updates! We’d like to share an important update regarding the recent U.S. tariff changes and how we will be responding. 🛃 Summary of the Policy Change U.S. customers could import goods under $800 per day without being taxed, under the De Minimis rule. This rule is still valid for shipments from Japan. However, starting May 2, 2025, this exemption will no longer apply to China-made products, regardless of the shipping country. Unfortunately, many of our main items—such as Tamagotchi, Digimon, and other electronic toys from Bandai Japan and Takara Tomy Japan etc.. are manufactured in China, and therefore fall under this new policy. ❓ What Does This Mean for You? From May 2 onward, all China-made products may be taxed regardless of their value. Technically, even small personal-use imports could be taxed. That said, it remains unclear how strictly this will be enforced, especially for small, personal orders. However, the current tariff rate on China-made products is extremely high (145%), and combined with FedEx fees ($10–30), it may be very difficult for customers to cover the costs if applied. We anticipate many shipping issues if this goes into full effect. 🚫 Our Temporary Shipping Suspension Due to this uncertainty and the risk of unexpected high charges: We will temporarily suspend all shipments of China-made products to the U.S. starting April 24 2025, unless there are any changes to the rules or regulations moving forward. If the situation changes or the policy is clarified in a way that allows for safe and predictable shipping, we will resume sales and update you. If we receive an order from a U.S. customer that includes even one China-made item,we will hold the order and contact you. If the order contains only China-made items, it will be automatically canceled. 📦 What Can You Still Buy? The country of origin is listed at the end of the product name or title. If the item is not made in China, the $800 De Minimis rule still applies. These products can still be shipped as usual without additional tax. You can see all items "excepting [Made in China]" :  "Menu>Store>excepting "[Made in China]" 📩 For Customers with Preorders If you already placed a preorder that includes China-made items,we will contact you directly by email. Please kindly wait for our message. 💬 Special Requests If you still wish to receive China-made items and are willing to prepay the full estimated tariff cost,we may be able to ship your order under a DDP (duties paid) arrangement. Please contact us directly to arrange this. 💔 A Message from the JYWTMGC Team The end of the De Minimis rule for China-made products was one of the outcomes we sincerely hoped would never come. Sadly, it has become reality...We considered various options to continue sales, but unfortunately, we have not found a solution at this time. It's truly disappointing. We’ve been proudly serving customers in the U.S. for over 12 years, and we are incredibly thankful for your love and support. We truly hope that we’ll be able to serve you again. Thank you so much for everything!
